About the event
The Taunton Independent Market takes place bi-monthly on Castle Green and surrounding streets in Taunton. We are proud to work with local, artisan traders from the South West. Our traders represent the very best in home-made, independent and small-scale business – all committed to delivering fantastic, fresh and fun produce. Each market has free parking (at the Council owned car parks only) plus live music and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
This particular event will run allongside the Taunton Town Council’s first ever Tauton Together festival, a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and creativity in the heart of Taunton town centre.
There will be performances, acts, stalls, and artists located across the town centre, in:
- Somerset Square (riverside area next in front of the Brewhouse)
- Goodland Gardens,
- Castle Green
- Taunton High Street
- Somerset County Cricket Ground,
- Orchard Shopping Centre
- Taunton Minster
